Replacement Policy
1. Overview
Lepakshi offers authentic handcrafted products created by skilled artisans. Considering the handcrafted and artisanal nature of these products, Lepakshi follows a replacement-first approach.
2. Eligibility for Replacement
A replacement request may be raised only in the following cases:
Product received in damaged condition
Manufacturing defect
Incorrect product delivered
Requests must be raised within 7 days from the date of delivery along with clear photo or video evidence supporting the claim.
Customers are advised to record unboxing photos or videos at the time of delivery to document any package tampering or transit damage. Such evidence may be required to process replacement requests.
3. Handcrafted Nature Disclaimer
Handcrafted products may exhibit minor variations in colour, texture, finish, or dimensions. Such natural variations are inherent to handcrafted items and shall not be considered defects.
4. Replacement Policy
Eligible products will be replaced at no additional cost after verification.
Replacement will be initiated within 5–7 working days after approval.
If the same product is unavailable, Lepakshi may, at its discretion, offer:
A suitable alternative product, or
A refund, subject to the Refund Policy below.
5. Refund Policy (Conditional)
Refunds are not the default resolution and may be approved only when replacement is not feasible due to reasons such as product unavailability or exceptional operational circumstances.
Approved refunds:
Will be processed to the original mode of payment
May take 7–10 working days
Will exclude shipping charges, convenience fees, customs duties, and taxes, unless otherwise specified
Refund amounts, if approved, may be partially adjusted based on the condition of the replacement product upon inspection.
Products that have been used, altered, or tampered with shall not be eligible for replacement.
All replacement requests are subject to verification and inspection. If a claim is found to be invalid or unsupported, Lepakshi reserves the right to reject the request or deduct applicable shipping and handling costs from the refund amount.
6. Shipping & Replacement Logistics
For verified defects or incorrect delivery within India, replacement shipping may be borne by Lepakshi.
In all other cases, replacement shipping costs shall be borne by the customer.
Lepakshi will arrange replacement pickup for verified defects where feasible; otherwise, customers may be requested to self-ship.
Replacement pickup attempts, where arranged by Lepakshi, shall be subject to standard logistics partner delivery attempt policies.

7. International Orders
International orders are not applicable at this time, as international shipping is currently not available.
This section shall become applicable only when international shipping is enabled and shall be updated accordingly on the Website.
8. Bulk & Institutional Orders
Bulk, corporate, or institutional orders are governed by separate commercial terms and may not be eligible for standard replacements or cancellations unless explicitly agreed in writing.
9. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled before dispatch or within 12 hours of placement, whichever is earlier.
Once dispatched, cancellation requests will be treated under this Replacements & Refunds Policy.
10. Excessive Replacements Safeguard
Lepakshi reserves the right to limit, suspend, or refuse replacement requests from customer accounts that exhibit abnormal or excessive replacement behaviour, as determined through internal review.
11. Force Majeure
Timelines for replacement may be impacted due to unforeseen circumstances beyond Lepakshi’s control, including but not limited to natural calamities, logistics disruptions, strikes, regulatory delays, or force majeure events.
12. Dispute Reporting
Any disputes related to orders, replacements, or refunds must be reported within the applicable replacement window from the date of delivery.

14. Final Authority
Lepakshi reserves the right to:
Verify all replacement requests
Accept or reject claims based on inspection and verification
Modify this policy at any time without prior notice
