Shipping & Delivery Policy
1. Overview
This Shipping & Delivery Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing the shipment and delivery of products purchased through the Lepakshi e-Commerce Website (“Website”), operated by Andhra Pradesh Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited (“Lepakshi”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By placing an order on the Website, customers agree to this Shipping & Delivery Policy, in addition to the Terms of Use, Terms of Sale, Privacy Policy, Replacement Policy.
2. Shipping Coverage
At present, Lepakshi supports domestic shipping within India only.
International shipping is not available currently and may be enabled in the future based on operational readiness, regulatory approvals, and business requirements.
Any updates regarding international shipping availability shall be notified on the Website.
3. Order Processing
Orders are processed after successful order placement and payment confirmation (for prepaid orders).
Order processing includes order validation, product preparation, quality checks, packaging, and handover to the logistics partner.
Orders shall be processed within 2 to 5 working days from the date of order confirmation, excluding public holidays, subject to product availability and operational considerations.
4. Delivery Timelines
Delivery timelines are indicative estimates and may vary based on delivery location, product type, logistics partner performance, and external factors.
For domestic orders, delivery is typically completed within 5 to 10 working days from the date of dispatch.
Delivery timelines are not guaranteed and may be affected by factors beyond Lepakshi’s control.
5. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges, if applicable, shall be calculated and displayed at checkout prior to order confirmation.
Lepakshi applies shipping charges based on factors such as product category, weight, dimensions, delivery location, and logistics feasibility.
6. Logistics Partners
Lepakshi fulfils orders through authorised third-party logistics partners and logistics aggregator platforms to ensure efficient delivery.
Lepakshi does not guarantee courier performance timelines and shall not be liable for delays attributable to logistics partners, customs authorities, or factors beyond its reasonable control.
7. Delivery Attempts & Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery address details at the time of order placement.
Logistics partners may make up to up to three (3) delivery attempts before returning the shipment to origin.
In cases of failed delivery due to incorrect address, recipient unavailability, or refusal to accept delivery, additional re-delivery or re-shipping charges may be borne by the customer.
Delivery shall be deemed complete when the order is delivered to the specified address or when delivery is attempted in accordance with the logistics partner’s standard procedures.
8. Shipment Tracking
Once an order is dispatched, customers shall receive shipment tracking details via email and/or SMS, enabling them to track the delivery status through the logistics partner’s tracking systems.
Tracking information is indicative and subject to updates provided by the logistics partner.
9. International Shipping
International shipping is not available at this time.
Lepakshi may enable international shipping in the future. When enabled, international orders shall be subject to additional terms relating to shipping charges, customs duties, import regulations, delivery timelines, and replacement conditions, which shall be notified on the Website.
10. Bulk, Corporate & Institutional Orders
Bulk, corporate, institutional, or export orders may be governed by separate shipping arrangements, timelines, and charges agreed in writing.
Standard shipping timelines and charges may not apply to such orders.
11. Risk of Loss
Risk of loss or damage to products shall pass to the customer upon successful delivery at the specified delivery address.
12. Force Majeure
Lepakshi shall not be liable for delays or failure in shipment or delivery due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural calamities, strikes, transportation disruptions, regulatory actions, or force majeure events.
13. Changes to Shipping & Delivery Policy
Lepakshi reserves the right to amend or update this Shipping & Delivery Policy at any time. The version in force at the time of order placement shall apply.
